Dr. Chaffoo and Dr. Stuart have both received a number of honors in recognition of their skill and authority as leaders in plastic surgery and dermatology in the San Diego area. Dr. Stuart is a recognized leader in both dermatology and laser skin care treatments in San Diego, having served multiple terms as the Chief of the Division of Dermatology at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla. Dr. Chaffoo is president of the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society and is on the clinical faculty of the Department of Surgery at University of California San Diego Medical Center.

Dr. Chaffoo is also Chief of Plastic Surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas, and has completed three postgraduate plastic surgery fellowships in addition to his years of training to earn board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology, and the American Board of Facial Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery
Dr. Chaffoo and Dr. Stuart are both highly respected for their longstanding achievements, but until now patients who wanted the full benefit of the husband-and-wife team had to meet with each at separate offices.
