This delightful 63 year old San Diego woman had a significant weight loss and was active and exercised regularly.  She was unable to fully tone her upper arms and felt the skin was loose, sagged, and was in excess. She underwent a bilateral upper arm lift (brachioplasty) which removed the excess loose skin and fat from both upper arms. She was thrilled with the more balanced and toned appearance to her upper arms. In addition, the final scars were hidden on the back of the arms and could not be seen from the front even with sleeveless clothing and her arms raised. The traditional arm lift creates more noticeable scars as they are placed along the inside of the arms which can be seen from the front while the modified approach used here creates much less noticeable scars.
