This patient is a 46-year-old female who underwent bilateral breast augmentation approximately 20 years ago by a another physician. The patient stated that she had issues with her left nipple after her initial procedure and she had to go back into the operating room due to a collection of blood under the skin. She had developed scarring on the left areola. She also felt as if the implants were too small and she desired an implant exchange with a larger size implants. She had consulted with triple board certified, plastic surgeon, Dr. Chaffoo for her revision breast augmentation. Dr. Chaffoo had recommended a donut mastopexy (breast lift) on the left side, capsulorrhaphy (scar tissue removal), as well as implant exchange. The patient had undergone bilateral breast augmentation revision and recovered well.
