Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.
This 25-year-old woman came to see Dr. Chaffoo about breast augmentation. At a 34 A cup, she felt that her breasts were too small and during her consultation, she told Dr. Chaffoo that she wanted only moderate enhancement; enough to be a proportional B cup. Together, they discussed the size, type and shape of the implants she wanted, finally deciding upon 250cc moderate plus implants.
For patients with very small breasts and nipples, incisions below the breasts are usually preferred over incisions around the areolas (the skin around the nipple) because it is harder to insert the implants through smaller incisions, like the areolar incisions, with small breasts. Since this patient had small breasts to start, Dr. Chaffoo made small incisions in the inframammary crease below her breast to insert the implants during her La Jolla breast augmentation. And, once this patient's implants were properly placed, he sutured the incisions closed and prepared her for recovery.
After she was given time to recover from her La Jolla cosmetic surgery, these "after" photos were taken to show her improvement. Now, her breasts look fuller while still appearing natural and proportionate to her frame. She was very happy with the results, loving the look and shape of her new breasts.
